3 Things You Should Never Do To Your Skin

There are a few simple steps you can take in order to improve the chances of your skin looking good and being healthy especially when you are at an old age. Mix some classic steps with a good quality anti aging skin care products and you’re on your way to slowing the visible effects of skin aging.

You only need to follow these 3 simple rules and you’re heading towards a healthy good looking skin, and good health in general.

3 Things You Should Never Do To Your Skin.

1. Avoid overexposure to the sun.

Even if a suntan might look good it’s one of the worst things you can do to your skin. Sunlight has damaging UV rays that burn your skin if you’re out in strong sunlight for too long, and this ages your skin and damages it severely.

This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go out in the sun. Our bodies need sunlight. Exposure to sunlight helps our body produce vitamin D. Don’t forget that it is not exposure to sunlight that is dangerous to our skin, it’s over exposure.

Avoid direct sun exposure

You simply need to avoid direct exposure to the sun between 1PM to 4PM, especially in summer. Use hats, long sleeved shirts and don’t neglect the sunscreen.

2. Don’t eat to ruin your skin and your health.

When you’re tucking into that next burger or pizza, don’t forget that your diet affects your skin and your overall health.

Eat more vegetables and fruits

Focus on a diet rich in fruit and vegetables and in particular leafy green vegetables, in order to improve your level of anti oxidants that combat the effect of free radicals in your body. Take care of your body with a good diet and it will function and look better.

3. Don’t dehydrate.

Drinking water should play a big part in any good skin care routine. Leave the tap water behind and only consume the filtered one, at least 2 liters per day.

Drink about 2 liters of water every day

Last but not least, only use good quality skin care products, that are actually worth your money. As a general rule of thumb, the best skin care products are the organic ones. For example products that contain Centella Asiatica and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) are effective and natural skin care treatments that work, and don’t contain dangerouds chemicals.

Phytessence Wakame

Phytessence Wakame, for example, is extracted from seaweed, and is packed with vitamins and minerals essential to the health of our skin. And it can help our body retain hyraluronic acid, which is very important for the health of your skin.

Don’t be fooled though, not all products containing these ingredients are effective, many big companies put very small amounts into their skin care products just so they can list them on the label.

Let’s recap: eat well, drink plenty of filtered water, avoid too much exposure to the sun, and use a high quality organic anti aging skin care products.
